Caviar Anti-Aging Multiplying Volume Styling Mist

You gotta be kidding, Alterna Caviar! This is supposed to be a 'multiplying volume mist'? I jumped at this when I read the description, but when I got the product and applied it, my hair got even more limp and lifeless. And as all the products nowadays, the 'directions' are printed on the back in such small font that reading them is impossible. I've resorted to taking a photo of directions with my cell phone and then enlarging it, but even the directions didn't help. This stuff needs to be renamed. It is not multiplying volume mist . . . it's subtracting volume mist.

I purchased the Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist thinking I could combine it with Alterna's Amplifying Mousse. I got really good results with the mousse on its own, but was hoping to achieve additional volume by using the amplifying mist first. I could tell only slight, if any, improvement by adding the mist. I have fine color treated hair above my shoulders & it requires added volume, like a ton of it. If you have fine hair, too, I'd skip this purchase & opt for the amplifying mousse instead. This is the first product made my Alterna I haven't been extremely pleased with. You can't go wrong with the Science of 10 line. I alternate between that line, the caviar volume moisture shampoo/conditioner, and the bamboo volume shampoo/conditioner duo. The bamboo line seems to be a touch more drying than the other two, but the volume the product delivers is spot-on. The shine and volume from the Science of 10 gives the best results, but I use it a tad less than the other two because it's expensive. If you have fine hair, you can't go wrong with any of the ones I've mentioned. In my opinion, add Kendra Volume Spray 25 after styling with the mousse, and drying, and you have as much volume as you need. I've tried a lot of hair products, and Alterna products are hands down the best (minus the mist, lol).
