My picky son loves this!
My son is extremely picky & has rejected a lot of booster seats but is obsessed with this one! He said it’s his most comfortable seat yet! We love having the crotch loop as it prevents our skinny son from sliding downwards. Even my husband who hates installing car seats love moving this seat around because both install & uninstall is a breeze. Highly recommend!

Most frustrating car seat I have encountered.
This thing is so hard to install! Also, the fabric comes off every time my kid sits in it. I wish I could return it!! I now have to buy a new car seat.

Great seat but old upon receipt
I did a lot of research before finally settling on the Alta booster seat. I like the safety features, the fact that it’s not too bulky, and most importantly I knew it had an approved fit in our vehicle. My daughter loves her new seat. However, after unpacking the seat from its box, I found out it was manufactured over 1 year and 7 months ago. On an item that has an expiration date directly related to its manufactured date, I find this completely unacceptable. Over 15% of the seat’s life is already gone and I just received it. Of course, you can’t see the expiration date until you take the seat out of the box. I will note that it’s evident that this seat is new/the box has never been opened. I blame the lack of transparency about the expiration date on the manufacturer. They should print this on the outside of the box so consumers know exactly what they are getting. A seat well over a year old shouldn’t be sold as new, it should be sold as a discontinued/old model.

very big seat
My daughter loved this seat and it seemed very comfortable. We had an issue of it being to wide for my captain chairs in our highlander. The seat covered part of the buckle so made it impossible for my daughter to buckle herself in and hard for the adults too. Probably better for a big suv or bigger seats.

Missed the mark
Pros of this seat: my large child is comfortable in it and I appreciate the latch connectors that keeps the seat in place. Cons: buckling is challenging (arm rest seems to be in the way), difficult to remove the seat belt from the seat belt lock off feature, and there’s no cup holder. The strap in between the legs seems to be more in the way rather than it’s function which is meant to keep the belt on the legs rather than the stomach. It’s a decent product but more of a hassle. I also own a peg perego booster for my other child and I wish I would have purchased that booster even though it’s pricier.

I was worried this wouldn’t be good quality but it’s made extremely well and fits great in the middle seat position.
