I was hoping they would fit, but it is important for future buyers to know that the side of the shoes was hitting my ankle bone when walking making them impossible to wear for any type of walking especially if you want them for long distance walking. Maybe your ankle bone is higher and you might want to take a chance purchasing them, cause the dark cherry color is beautiful and they did not look clunky on my feet.

This is a comfortable, very well made hand free shoe, with a strictly decorative zipper (do not try to unzip it). I love hand free shoes. Usually I wear 7.5 regular (my foot: 23.5/24 cm long and 9cm at its widest) but in this shoe I ordered 7 W (because of an ankle surgery) and it fit perfectly. The sole has a little bounce to it so perfect for people with sole problems. Being leather upper, this shoe is more structured and felt than a textile material would. Unfortunately because of the surgery my ankle is bigger than usual, and the hard leather edge would have chafed it. So I have to do a return but I will try it again when my ankle heals.
