Yep, that's how you have to where it because the buttons don't stay closed. It fit and the buttons weren't pulling, but they just pop unlatched with the slightest movement. Also its like that material from those crinkle broom skirts from many years ago which I didn't realize. Really, its too bad, because the print is wonderful. I am a medium and ordered a large. I could have probably fit into the medium, but the large wasn't all that big on me so I'd say it runs slightly small (meaning if you want fitted / slim fit, order normal size and if want flowy or are between sizes order up one size).

Some reviews recommend sizing up, that was a mistake for me, so if your true to your size, this blouse will be true to you. I'm 5'4", 140lbs, 34D and the medium would have fit perfectly as the large its a little too big but I'll make it work. The quality is a plus also
