Too tight - returned
These shoes are very attractive. But I don't understand what's going on with AE shoes and boots this year. This is the 3rd pair I've returned for being too narrow/tight. I own may AE boots and shoes in a D width that fit fine. Given the tight fit of the last 2 pairs that I had purchased in my regular D width, I ordered these shoes in an E width. They were still too tight across the ball of my foot. Is AE making their shoes and boots narrower than in the past?

The color was quite a bit lighter than the photo. Also there are loose strings in the side stitching. Good fit and finish but still a bit disappointed.

Fits nicely and good all season with the Dainite sole. The derby lacing makes it easy to get on and off, and the welting looks gorgeous with the navy suede.
