'Vernon' Oxford

I'm a huge fan of Edmonds and how extremely comfortable they are but unfortunately, these just don't make the cut. I hate that I have to give a bad review on these but I blame it all on the crease. The crease is just horrible and it really does take away from the rest of this beautiful comfortable shoe. I'm not happy that I spent $330 on a pair of shoes that look ugly.

This was my first pair of AE oxfords. I wasn't really sure what to expect. This shoes live up the hype. As a young attorney I was looking for something sleek, and do these oxfords deliver. They are beyond comfortable though and feel extremely durable. I would highly recommend these shoes!

The unusual detailing on the shoe makes it a desirable classic to add to your collection. Extremely comfortable with a true fit. Excellent for a wider foot. Just a great looking and feeling shoe.

I have a pair of AE Park Avenue shoes in Black and these Vernon's in saddle brown. The Vernon is a great looking shoe on foot. The saddle brown color looks great with light grey and blue suit colors. It has a much more svelte profile than my Park Avenues and creates a thinning silhouette with fitting suit pants and dark jeans. The shape of the last that they use for this one just works for me. The leather upper is crafted beautifully and the more modern brogue styling is a wonderfully subtle touch that really sets the whole thing off. I can't believe AE is discontinuing this model! If they had a black pair in 12 D size I'd purchase them today. Highly recommended shoe if you're able to get your hands on a pair. I tend to receive many compliments when wearing these for business. AE bring them back!

Not quite as happy about the look, pictures and end product not the same. End product received has some blemishes on the shoes, for the price a good buy.
