Very poor construction, immediately returning
I ordered these loafers from the website and when I took them out of the box I immediately noticed that the construction was awful. I'm not even a shoe guy and I could tell that they weren't done correctly. I've been a loyal AE customer since I started working and I'm very disappointed. I tried them on and they fit fine, but the absolutely shoddy construction made me put them right back in the box to be returned.

Breaking them in for office casual and the weekends. Allen Edmonds run a size smaller for me than an average athletic or basic brand.

Great look and fit
4 stars only at this time as I’ve only had them a week and not yet had chance to wear them outside (it’s winter here!) but they loo great and fit snug as expected with drivers. Definitely require some breaking in as is with all new leather shoes, but otherwise can see myself wearing these frequently once the warm weather roles around.

Quality Versatile Shoe, but Why the Heel Tag?
Bought these leather loafers as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves them. He says they’re super comfortable, and they look great with pretty much everything from jeans to smart-casual outfits. The only downside is the tag sticking out of the heel; it is distracting and makes them more casual and less versatile than they need to be. Other than that, they’re stylish, versatile, and a new favorite for my hubby.
