Happy I bought them
I was unsure about buying a double monk strap shoe. Single monk has always been my preference. However, I have to say that I could not be happier about this purchase. It looks great and is very sturdy yet comfortable enough to wear from work to dinner without any issues. I’ll probably buy it in other colors. The finish is not perfect. There are some minor QC issues but they are not noticeable unless you thoroughly examine the finish. If I could make a suggestion I would recommend offering more matching belt options with parallel discounts when these shoes go on sale.

Out of Cash- bad dogs

I did everything to try to break them in. Shoehorn, walk with Miranda around the house. More than one day to work. I almost was unable to work by the end of eight hours. Lots of money should be unhappy. I was making my with them, Cole Haan. May have made a mistake. The worst part about it is that I brought five pairs of other variations

Comfortable shoe but didn't love the look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked the color but did not like the look (with the double straps). There was an older (now discontinued) shoe with a single strap that was great (one of the most comfortable AE shoes I've owned) but this really didn't do it for me.
