The shape of the shoe makes it uncomfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are not wide enough at the toe box but too wide in the heel area. If you size up, toe box would be adeqaute but you'll encounter heel slippage. If you size down, toe box would be too small but at least that resolves the heel slippage. I don't recommend buying this shoe online, and suggest trying it in store paired with the socks you are planning to wear with them. I developed plantar fasciitis after wearing it two times.

Not as good as my others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the look of the shoe. However, it seems to run a little larger than my other 5 pairs that are all the same size, but not so much that I would size down. Also, the leather seems to scuff a lot easier as compared to my Randolphs that I wear most often so I have already had to polish treat them after only a couple wears (I do my other shoes once every few months and only have AE dress shoes at this point). I dont know if it’s lower quality materials because it’s imported? For my other pairs of leather sole shoe I have made a poitof ol buying the US made, but on this one I forgot to look before buying. I did get them on sale, and will sale price vs quality ratio was still good, especially as compared to other brands, just not other AE products.

Took a minute
I normally go down a size for loafers, and it definitely took a minute to break them in, but they are the go to...excellent color. The leather is excellent, and I can dress them up or down.
