Heel Replacement Required (2 pairs)
I own 2 pairs of Landon, one in each colors! A testiment to how much I used to love them! BOTH pairs have required sole replacements. not from wear! One because a heel failed and a piece broke off. And the other had the same experience, on the toe! Dainite soles should last longer than 2 or 3 years! Then unreleated to above, the leather tore at the stitching to the sole near my small toe. Unrepairable according to my decades experienced cobbler. I take very good care of my shoe collection. Always polished. Very disappointed in an expensive shoe!

Boot is too long
I wear a size 12, lately I been purchasing 11 1/2 in AE to fit my feet. I purchased this shoe in a 11 1/2 and there still too long. it has become a guessing game with AE shoes.

Beautiful contrast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that cap-toe leather has a darker color and is pebbled. The boots are comfortable and true to size. I prefer Dainite soles in these boots over lug soles in some other boots because Dainite soles don’t collect as much dirt but still provide enough traction.

London Cap-toe Dress Boots
Great dress boots. This the second pair. I prefer pure walnut color as last pair. Unfortunately, they are not available.
The left boot makes snapping noise with walking. It is a new shoe. I am sure, the noise will go away once it is worn some. I will contact AE if it is persistent after a month or two
