The gold standard
My husband has had a number of Allen Edmonds shoes and has tried just about every other brand, both more and less expensive as well (he wears suits to work everyday) and these are just the best out there. You have to break them in, but then they end up being super comfortable and last forever. A very good investment.

How did this pair pass QC?
These were purchased on ShoeBank, but not labeled as an F2. I feel like this pair should never have left the factory; right insole feels like there is a crease or something under the leather, not comfortable; serious sewing issues in both welts, missed the sewing groove by a large margin, sole protrudes on right outer heel and is not smoothly cut or finished

Great shoe
The 9D is a perfect fit for me (and true-to-size based on the allen edmonds printable size guide), and surprisingly comfortable. The walnut leather is beautiful and goes particularly well with blue (looks awesome with denim).
