Aliso Wedge Chelsea Boot (Women)

Loved the look, and heel height BUT the removable insole was flimsy and not comfortable. It had a weird ridge in the center of the footbed which was not comfortable. I ordered a separate removable footbed from Vionic which made the boot much more comfortable, but was an additional cost. If I had not purchased with the Anniversary sale discount, I would have probably returned.

I have W-WW feet, depending on the brand. Bought 7W and they were super cute with the comfortable wedge, but too narrow and squished my toes. I also was concerned about the longevity/quality of the sole, which is a really dense foam material. It's lightweight, but I had shoes with a similar sole material that got shredded easily on subway grates and city walking.

This is a very nice boot. Length seems true to size but toe box is a bit narrow. Need to return for a larger size. Unfortunately for me, I bought these during the anniversary sale, and they won't exchange for a larger size honoring the sale price. So I will have to pay full price now for a bigger size. I vary between a size 7 to 8. I ordered the 7, and definitely need a 7 1/2.

The headline says it all. I was surprised how light these shoes are for a boot, but still seem well made as I expect from Vionic. Good support too though I usually do not have foot issues. Fits my average width foot well too. I did go up a 1/2 size in boots as usual to accommodate some thicker or cushioned socks I wear sometimes especially in winter.
