Flattering Fit
This dress is very flattering and versatile in that it can be worn with or without the jacket. The gored skirt is flowy but tapered enough at the waist for a nice, slim fit. While it may be a bit too formal to wear as a wedding guest, I will probably keep it to have on hand should a formal event arise in the future. I have come to the realization that it is time consuming to shop online, especially for petite-sized formal wear.

Not What I Expected
The description and image of this dress lead me to believe that it was more lavender and silver when in fact, its color is liver. It does nothing for my complexion and unfortunately works with very few complexions. If you naturally have a lot of silver in your complexion, like those beautiful women with the long, silver manes and crystal blue eyes, this color could be flattering. The bodice fits horribly, weighing down my breasts and not fitting properly around my waist. I ordered 3 different sizes and none of them fit, each one poorly made in a different area. The dress is straight down and flares at the bottom. Therefore, YOU need to be straight up and down. The length of the dress is made for a tall woman in addition to being made for a straight up and down woman. I'm 5'5 and the length of the skirt made my legs look ridiculously short, and dumpy. So, if you are 5'9, 125 pounds, straight up and down with long silvery hair and crystal blue eyes, this dress is for you. Otherwise, don't bother.

more brown than pewter
more brown. Not grey enough to be called "pewter" so it won't work for me. However, I am almost 70 and it is a flattering fit. covers the stuff that needs to be covered. I am 5'3; ordered a petite. It is a little longer than mid calf. I am a size 8.

Hideous color
Ugliest color of mauve I have ever seen. Matronly and cheap-looking. I am 5'6" and 170 with a short waist so I ordered the petite for the torso to fit. The dress fit fine (a 12P) but the armholes are super tight and the sequins scratch the upper arms. If wearing to a wedding no worry about upstaging the bride. Going back.

Fit to size and beautiful
I ordered a petite size 12 and it fit me just right. The color turned out beautiful with the shifting lighting of the sun during the outdoor wedding setting. I had several compliments on how beautiful the dress was. I was the mother of the groom and wanted to look elegant but not too overboard or look matronly. I'm 5' tall and the length was perfect. I tried the same dress in blue and it was beautiful too. But, I had it one size small, P10. Either one would have worked fine. The material is nice. The design is nice.
