Sequin Lace & Chiffon Gown

I chose this dress after trying two other potential "mother-of-the-bride dresses" for my daughter's upcoming spring evening (and formal) wedding. The online representation of this dress is accurate: its a very classic understated yet elegant gown; conservative neckline (not quite a true boatneck) and styling; there is slight stretch to the bodice and sleeves that are just close-fitting enough to accentuate your shape without clinging and the dress is very comfortable: the lace sleeves fit properly (arm holes are at shoulder where they should be, neither too large/gaping nor too small/tight: just right!) so your arms move freely, no binding anywhere, fully lined yet lightweight; the bodice meets the skirt right at the hipline on me (a couple inches below my waist--I have a slightly longer than average torso) and the profile of the skirt is somewhat slim yet with easy movement for dancing. I am 5'9" 38C full-bodied & broad shouldered: I tried both 14 & 16 (my true size is between 14/16 depending upon the manufacturer...I am a true 14 in Vincent Camuto) the 16 was just a bit big in the bust & wider cut throughout than I need; the 14 fits perfectly; length is perfect for 2-3" heel or for a flat sandal (my height is equally distributed between torso & legs, so my legs are somewhat longer than average); the color is a dark but rich navy (entire dress/monochrome is also slimming). Love it and will be a perfect mother-of-the-bride dress.
