Lovely dress!
I am 5'6"and this dress is the perfect length (with a small heel) with no alterations needed. I am always between sizes (8-10) in dresses and went with the 8 and it fit perfectly, the material has a lot of give as it flows on your body and isn't tight at all, very roomy. I like the style, the sleeves are nice, full zipper in the back. It's great for those women who don't want to show off their arms (I'm not a sleeveless wearing woman). Yes, there is glitter, but not so much as others have complained, some does come off, but that happens with all glitter outfits, it was not that bad. I think it's very flattering.

No Glitter Please
I'm sorry to say, but the details of this dress on your page does not have glitter written anywhere on your page. This is what I have purchased already a few times and have mentioned (no glitter) I've had to send back. This is not the picture I receive on my facebook. I have sent a copy (upclose) and there is no glitter. Does Alex make this identical dress anymore without all this glitter going everywhere? I'm sorry, I just can't do this glitter. No one has gotten back to me by E-Mail to even discuss this matter. I have tried to find Alex's address but not very successful. I love this dress because I've had a ruptured colon surgery and it falls nicely over my tummy. I really would love an answer or at least the address. Thank you Jeanne

No Glitter Please
I'm sorry to say, but the details of this dress on your page does not have glitter written anywhere on your page. This is what I have purchased already a few times and have mentioned (no glitter) I've had to send back. This is not the picture I receive on my facebook. WAY too much Glitter!!!
This dress was simply beautiful and I received numerous complements on it the night I wore it to a military ball. However, I am only rating it a 4 due to SOOOO much glitter fallout! There was so much glitter dropping constantly all night, that it annoyed me - I was constantly wiping off my dress, my husband’s uniform and seats I’d sit in. The seat in my car was filled with glitter :-( I wish this dress could be as beautiful without the glitter because it takes away from the quality of the gown.

The dress is beautiful. I bought it for my son's wedding (HE picked it out for me). The only draw back is the jacket and bodice has glitter in it and of course it comes off. Not a deal breaker though. It fits perfectly and is very flattering. The wrap around skirt is beautiful.
