Embroidered Mock Jacket Cocktail Dress

I am a 65 year old who likes to think that she is 40-50 something, so definitely in denial where my age is concerned. This dress made me feel like I was in my grandmother’s dress. Very matronly and stiff looking. It was too long on me hitting in a very unflattering place below my knee so I would have had to have it altered. The shift and the overlay jacket are one piece. I returned it.

This dress looked very “matronly”, think Queen Elizabeth. It was boxy and very long. For reference, I’m 5’5”. I was also disappointed in the shipping which was not the quality I expect of Nordstrom. The dress arrived crumpled in a plastic bag in a plastic shipping envelope. I expected much better from Nordstrom. This will be returned.

This dress is perfect fit for my daughters wedding. The mock jacet covers up all the "flaws" and is very flattering.

Beautiful dress!!! It sparkles and shimmers. Its a little on the heavy side, so i wish the jacket was removable. But that's my only complaint. Definitely recommend!

I love it but I started out with a 16W and ended up with a regular 16. The larger size is what I expected to fit best.
