Dress does not match photo
The color is very bright, almost a neon and the emroider is very heavy looking. I expected a pale blue with delicate embroiderry and I was very disappointed. It has been returned. I did not try it on so I don't know how it fits .

very beautiful lace
This dress is absolutely lovely in person. I liked it very, very much and it fit perfectly (I'm curvy). The only reason that I didn't keep it was that my husband said that this dress made him say "what a beautiful dress" but the other dress we kept made him say "you look beautiful".

The bodice has built in padding you can’t remove!
WHY oh why? I am full busted and the last thing I want is to add 1/2 inch to my chest. Yet the underslip to this dress, which is sewn to the waist, is two layers thick in the bodice, with foam padding sandwiched in between. This is not mentioned in the description. If you are flat chested with a straight/no curves figure, this dress will change that. The torso is also loose in the waist on me. There is no stretch to the fabric. I am not fat but this dress made me thick waisted and matronly. Thank you Nordstrom for making returns so easy.
