My Favorite Dress

I purchased this dress to wear to my boyfriends oldest daughters wedding. I received so many compliments that day and asked by several women where I purchased the dress and the brand. The dress is gorgeous, I can not say enough good things about it. The dress fit me extremely well and I liked the way it draped my body and how it flowed when walked and danced giving me a nice girlish silhouette. The material is luxurious and very soft. The dress is well made and very high quality. I own several Alex Evenings dresses purchased at Nordstrom's. They have the best selection and the highest quality dresses. I am a male who enjoys wearing women's clothes and expressing my feminine side. I purchase most of my special occasion dresses and everyday wear at Nordstrom's, my favorite store.

too much

Bought this for my mother in law, for a 16w it was super big so I had to return it. Nice looking dress though. I would still recommend for you to purchase it

Classic Elegance

Finally someone who knows how to design for plus size older women. We want the right length. We want sleeves or if sleeveless we want a good jacket to go over it. We want great fabric and beading sewn on right. We want a great price. This is just a great dress. I would love to see this in black also!

Love this dress!

I am a size 18 and 5'4", this dress is so comfortable and does not need to be hemmed. (hurray). It is for my daughter's wedding in July and she said it looked flattering on me. It matches her color theme perfectly. Not that it was neccessary. The mother of the groom is wearing a gray/silver colored dress. The sleeve length is perfect as I do not plan on taking the jacket off. My only hesitation is the jewels around the neck are nice but perhaps a bit much for me. I still love this dress and though I will continue to look I will be very happy with this dress.

Perfect!

This dress is perfect for my daughter's May wedding. Though she thought it was a bit plain, I am perfectly comfortable, with the jacket, too. I added a Nadri bracelet and hoop earrings and a beautiful Sondra Roberts jeweled purse from Nordstrom to complete the outfit.

beautiful mother of the bride dress

This dress surprised me when I took it out of the box. It was so beautiful and draped the body and the bottom pleating had an excellent twirl effect. The color was our color for the wedding making it a perfect mother of the bride dress. The beading around the neckline gave it a dressy and fun look. I wore this dress for seven hours - beyond comfortable. This dress looks so much better in person than online. Very happy with this purchase.

Mother of the Groom

Purchased the gown for my son's wedding and it fit perfectly. My family thinks it looks great on me: slims me down! The online purchasing, billing, and delivery were without any problems. Thanks, Nordstom.com! Lov ya!
