Alegria Pesca Walking Sandal for Bad Feet
Alegria makes terrific shoes, but the Pesca is their only sandal with a covered heel area providing the extra support my troublesome feet demand. I've got bunions and recurring plantar fasciitis. The Pesca has a wide toe box, great arch support, and a deep removable insole. So, I am able to wear it with or without my custom orthotic inserts. It requires no break-in period. I plan to wear as an all-day walking shoe on cobblestone streets while traveling. I so much don't want to be The Ugly American in giant white leather sneakers! The Pesca is what i call "ridiculous cute." This is my second pair, they're terrific. Do not size down, I enjoy the option of wearing with a nude footie. Recommended without reservation, especially for those with "bad" (painful) feet.

Terrible fit, sizing off
different than the "backless shoe" they say to order up a size, I did
was too big the 38 and the 37 felt too tight.
I brought them back for a refund

Comfy and cute
Love the shoes and the color (cactus). Already received compliments!! Make certain you stick to traditional EU vs US sizing where 39 is 8.5 US or the shoes will be too small. I plan to wear these all throughout the Fall because they would also be comfy with lightweight socks. Rarely can you put on a new pair of shoes on bare feet and have such comfort right away with no blisters or areas of rubbing but these felt great from the start. Biggest problem is choosing best color because they all look so nice.

Comfort right out of the box
Love the shoe, love the style, love the comfort. Unfortunately, if you wear a true size 5, they are too big without socks. I really wanted to wear them in the warm weather without socks, so I am sadly returning them. Bummer.

Alegria Comfort!
I own a couple pair of Alegria shoes and I love them. They are quite comfortable. When I saw the Pesca I thought this might be a good summer shoe-I am not a huge sandal fan. The fun print also caught my eye. I was not disappointed when I received these shoes. I usually always wear a size 8 1/2 M so I ordered the 39. They fit great. The print is very cute although it might be a little limiting as to what I can wear these with clothing wise. I do recommend Alegria Shoes.

cute but run a bit small
Bought these in navy blue. They're a little tight to get on and a bit shorter than the other Alegria styles I own, but decided to keep them because of the color. Got these in a 38 (my usual Alegria size) because the 39 was too loose. They're cute for the couple outfits that I need blue shoes for.

Cute, Too Large Too Wide
These shoes run a full size too large and they are quite wide. The strap is adjustable, it still is not enough for my 7M feet. I always wear a 7M, I ordered a size down, they are still too long and really, really wide. Also, the arch support is just so, so. I will be returning these.
