Alameda Mary Jane Flat (Women)

I own several pair of Vionic shoes; I like the brand. It fits me and the shoes are comfortable. So I don't know what happened with these Alameda MJ flats in the tan (animal print). I was so looking forward to having these, but they were so uncomfortable right out of the box. Stiff enough to hurt the top of my foot in the first few steps, and they did run smaller than other Vionic flats in the toe box. I was not expecting this, so unfortunately, I decided to return them. I want the black pair; the leather looks softer so maybe that will help. I just don't know whether to try this style again in another color.

I have narrow heels and have a hard time keeping loafer type shoes on. The Mary Janes are perfect! I normally wear an 8 and I purchased an 8. Not only that, the strap is velcro and I don't have to put on my readers to attach the straps. Vionic is perfect for someone like me, who pronates and really has no arch to speak of. Support is great.

Surprised to see these fit as well as they do. I wear a 9.5 AA so finding narrow shoes that actually fit is important and rare. These shoes fit well with good arch support , and the heel is narrow so my heel doesn’t slip out of them, bought the leopard print super cute for the season, will probably buy another pair due to the quality of the fit.

I’m so picky with shoes. These check every box; what a pleasant surprise! Finally, a flat style shoe with some arch support! Huge bonus! The straps are velcro which at first I wasn’t sure about, but now I’m a huge fan. I spend so much time buckling and unbuckling shoes, that I avoid wearing those types of shoes. These are easy on and off! So soft and buttery. Very flattering! A little sticker on the box reads “American Podiatric Medical Association Accepted.” Functional, so pretty, and won’t ruin your feet!
