SPANX

The bold mission of SPANX: to make the world a better place, one butt at a time. For founder Sara Blakely, it all started in 2000 with a bad case of VPL: visible panty lines. She cut the feet off her control-top pantyhose, and a shapewear empire was born. Today these undergarments are wardrobe staples for women and men who trust SPANX to slim their silhouettes and boost their confidence.

cute but not durable

I bought the blue one, love the color and it fits TTS, so cute. But it snags terribly as a lot of Spanx modal items do. I wore no jewelry because I knew that would be a risk with this fabric, but still within a couple of hours there were snags and pulls all over.

Go to dress

I bought it in blue and loved it so much I ordered the black. I’m 5’2” and the length is nice-mini works well for petites. The dress is made very well and is flattering. The waistline is reinforced with a 2” wide strip of built in elastic. Great dress and perfect to wear for a variety of occasions.

Snags Easily

Love the fit, but snagged from my purse strap after just a few hours of walking around. I would not buy.

Not For Tall Girls

Loved the fabric of this dress. The waist had an additional band that sat funny on me- I’d say my torso length is normal, but the dress is very short. I’m 5’9” and the bottom of the skirt stopped just past my butt. Would probably look great on a petite person.

cute but expected more

I love everything about this dress except the waistline. There is an elastic band that squeezes your mid section and it feels uncomfortable. I also wish this dress had the built in shorts like the other spanx athletic dresses have. It does look flattering in though.
