Nice but Run small

Nice pair of pants but runs small and extremely long . I am 5'9" and wear size 29 or30. The pant leg extended over my heel... needed to hem I purchased a size 30 and it still ran tight but was able to button on. Hoping the pants will stretch while wearing.
