Favorite Non-Skinny Jean
I have been on the hunt for a boyfriend style of jean for several months (after my children informed me that my "skinny" jeans meant I was old and out of style). I tried on at least 25 pairs of jeans and ended up with 2 pairs that were flattering on my body. For reference I am 5'6" and weight 150lbs and usually wear a size 29. I have thick thighs and a substantial butt and smaller waist. This is my second pair of this style jean from AG, my other pair is a little less cropped and they are destroyed. This jean does not add heft to my thicker upper area and fits well all the way down. They are more relaxed fit than my skinny jeans throughout my legs, but do not look sloppy. If you are looking for a more fitted style that is still "trendy" than these jeans are great and my kids approved.

poor quality
This is the second pair I’ve gotten. After about a month the first pair got a hole in weird spot above the back pocket. I did not do anything out of the ordinary- did not catch a snag. I retuned them and Nordstrom gave me a new pair. This pair lasted a little longer, but now have a hole in the same place. The jeans are super soft and comfy, but I can’t understand the quality issue for this price.

The sizing is off. I bought AG boyfriend jeans during the sale and love them. I wanted to love these too and may try a size down. The material is so soft but they fit bigger and were shorter then my other pair even though measurements in the description say they should be the same. It’s frustrating lately that the stores don’t carry what I’m looking for. I have had to order on line and return a lot lately.

Great jeans!
Many AG jean styles fit me. I love the fabric with Lyocell in it. Makes them lighter weight and very soft. They wash well too. I have large thighs and this style is very flattering and comfortable. I bought my usual size.

Soft fabric, great fit
Great feel to the fabric (the fabric of this jean is a blend of cotton/polyester/lycra; which makes them much softer than just 98/2 cotton/lycra). The fit is fun/fresh and comfortable. They look somewhat distressed, but do not have holes in them. I got them on sale and love them ! (I am 5'9" and size 6/8 - I got the 29.)
