I love this style, just not the fabric. It doesn’t feel or look like denim in the way I like denim to look. It is very light and comfortable and breathable, it just is missing something for me. I prefer a higher cotton percentage. I am sure many will not find this to be an issue. The fit is still amazing. I knocked one star due to the fabric.

Not flattering in my regular AG size
I am 5’7” 127# 32D hourglass athletic figure. My typical AG size is 26 (size 27 for white jeans and the Isabelle jean). The Nikki short in size 26 fit like a glove (not tight, but not ‘relaxed’). yes, the jean material is thin and stretchy so they loosen a bit within 5 minutes of wearing them, but that just causes some bunching in the upper thigh. The length and fit are not a flattering look on my athletic build… my legs looked stumpy and my butt looked bigger. This is always my problem with bermuda shorts. I am 56 so I have lost elasticity of the skin on my legs and so I dont like their appearance and want a longer length short. I have seen the AG Nikki short on other women who are heavier than me, and it looks GREAT on them, so i had to try. Since the style is advertised as ‘relaxed’ and they fit (out of the bag) like a ‘glove’… I will rate it as one notch down from TTS. So maybe size 27 would give me a true relaxed fit, which might be more flattering… but its sold out. I guess I can try next season…
