Great arch support and super cute
These sandals fit me perfectly. I would normally have issues if the width was wider than average, but the width is great with this shoe. The straps are comfortable against my skin. I love the braided straps - super cute. With the great arch support these will be great vacation/walking sandals.

Good footbed very poor straps
Shoe has great, comfortable footbed ruined by the use of metal attachments & metal decorations on straps that make the straps irritating to the bare foot. These sandals are worn without protection on feet therefore these sandals had to be returned. Cute sandals however they would cause irritations on feet.

Aetrex Comfort
The Aetrex "Jillian" braided leather strap sandal is very comfortable on my 67 yr old foot, with good arch support. It is fairly stylish (not a little old lady look). The strap tops are covered in denim. The straps can be adjusted to fit my foot. As a bonus, the heel strap has some extra padding to prevent rubbing. I would recommend these shoes!

Generous sizing leads to issues
I had ordered the black in my normal size 6.5 and its pretty roomy. The issue is actually with the straps. The sizing is too generous where I have gaps in the back heel and also the straps in the front don't actually go as tight. They feel as they look... clunky. I do have a collapsed arch on one foot, and the arch support isn't exactly enough to keep my foot from falling. I might try sizing down 1 full size to see if that takes care of the issue. I recommend doing the same if you are considering ordering.

Very comfortable. Good arch support.
This is my first pair of Aetrex shoes and I love them. I am usually a size 8 in sandals, but I exchanged these for a 7.5 as the 8 was too long. The 7.5 is perfect. I wore them 2 days in a row to work this week with no discomfort. Highly recommended.
