Effective natural deodorant
I've been a long time user of natural deodorant so I was pleased to try this one by Aesop. The fragrance is beautifully herbal, with notes of eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender all coming through. I see a lot of reviewers being disappointed by this deodorant but as with all natural deodorants, the body needs to become accustomed to the lack of strong chemicals like aluminium - it takes about a couple of weeks for it to become effective. I really enjoyed using it. I have to say it is a little bit on the pricey side, so I have another natural deodorant from a different brand on the go for every day and use this for 'special' days. Absolutely recommended!

Alcohol smell, fragrance doesn’t last long
The spray had more of a rubbing alcohol fragrance at first. After a workout, the fragrance was gone (vs the roll on). I purchased this after the my herbal roll on deodorant from Aesop ran out. I am returning this item and going back to the roll on.

Great!
My husband recently made the switch to natural deodorant and has fallen in love with this. The smell is great and lasts for ages. The only negative is that he has to wait a few minutes for it to dry before putting on a shirt. The bottle lasts for a long time, much longer than those antiperspirant aerosol ones.

quite a few "buts"
I am a huge fan of Aesop products but this one did not really deliver for me (albeit I have to make a caveat that I did not use many “natural” deodorants to compare.) While it does not leave marks on clothes, it is really wet when applied and gives a bit of an uncomfortable feeling as you wait for it to dry and to continue dressing. The scent is ok but is a bit too strong for me and it really lingers, plus I do not want it to overpower the perfume that I am wearing. The price is also quite steep given that it is not exactly a “wow” product and there are many more competitively priced natural deodorants on the market

Disappointing
I was very excited to try this, expecting to feel the need to continually purchase expensive deodorant after using it, however this is the first Aesop product that I won’t buy again. Unfortunately it just didn’t really work for me. It smells nice and sprays well but it didn’t appear to do anything, feeling like i wasn’t wearing deodorant within an hour or so. I am reasonably active and this didn’t live up to my needs on most occasions. It’s a shame as I still love Aesop products, but this one just wasn’t right for me

Lovely
This is one of the natural deodorants that I have been using at the moment. It does its work on me and I like using deodorants with different fragrances. The aroma of this herbal deodorant is stronger than the Aesop deodorant. I tend to use it more often before or after a gym session.
