Ronnie Platform Loafer (Women)

I read the other reviews before purchasing. I gathered from reviews that they run about half size too big, and I am normally a 9.5. So I got both the black and white shoes in size 9s. Perhaps my feet have shrunk or shoe sizing has changed.... but I could tell they were going to be too big right when I pulled them out of the box. They look like they could be at least size 10’s if not 10.5s. I tried them anyway, and they’re so enormous on me that they were slipping off my feet as I walked and creasing across the center of the top. I did notice the white is stiffer than the black is, with far less give. So they creased and slipped off my feet more so than the black ones did. The black is a softer more pliable leather so they felt a bit more secure but they were still slipping. I imagine with wear and break in, they will become even larger and slip off even more. I guess I am going to order 8.5s which seems insane since I haven't been smaller than a 9 in at least 30 years. I hope they work because I otherwise really love these shoes. They are so cute and obviously very high quality.

these are SUPER comfortable and i love the way they look. i ordered my typical size and although they felt perfect they slid off my heel when i walked in them. i will have to return because i know that will eventually drive me crazy and potentially cause pain in my feet. maybe i will order a size down, though these are a bit pricey. i may just cut my losses and return without reordering.
