AERIN Rose de Grasse Gift Set $340 Value

My husband bought this as my 35th wedding anniversary gift as it was a delightful pleasure to open its box.We decided not to go traditional; instead we've been creating our own throughout the years. After showering and applying the parfum, it reminded me so much of the roses and rain back home in Louisiana. On rainy days I would take my parasol and stroll in my backyard; sit under my wisteria trellis wrapped with Pink Old English Roses, located along the side garden with a concrete table & bench. Here I would enjoy a cup of international coffee as I would just savor the smell of the rain and roses as I inhaled their freshness and rhapsody. It was absolutely one of my most favorable things to do besides gardening Roses. AERIN'S 'Rose d Grasse' is just that fragrance! Fresh rain and 100 roses bottled into a soft intoxicating misty spray. Thanks AERIN, for putting my most precious memories in a beautiful bottle. I have worn this scent since 2016 when it was $170 for 1.7 oz. I cannot justify the price anymore at $275 for 1.7 oz as of April 2024. I understand it’s a “luxury” brand but this is just insane. Last year I bought it for $260 (May 2023). It seems like they have changed the formula in the last few years, it doesn’t last as long. Disappointing on so many levels.

This is one of the most beautiful, rose-musky infusions I have ever smelled. It is not heady (actually smells like fresh roses) and truly just gorgeous...very delicate, soft, and sensual (I don't think I could ever tire of it)...I've been searching high and low for something like this....actually reminds me a bit of the discontinued Moroccan rose body butter from the body shop. What broke my heart about this perfume though is that for the $$$, it only lasted an hour on me. I could not smell a trace of it after that :( I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch or if it's my body chemistry. I'm torn between keeping it and returning it. If it lasted longer it would be a no brainer!

My husband gave this to me as a Christmas gift. The soft rose scent is intoxicating. My mom and daughter-in-law were there when I received it and are as enamored as I am with this fabulous Aerin Lauder fragrance. I've purchased rose perfumes before but they end up drying down to an under scent that I don't like and it sits on my dresser until I give away or throw it away. All the notes in this scent are in total harmony with the rose. Love it and will purchase the matching lotion.

I have used this Aerin Rose Hand and Body cream for years. The last one I purchased didn't have the protective seal and I used all my rewards on purchasing this! When I went to Nordstrom Store to exchange it, it took the lady 20 minutes to go and find another pack and still it didn't have protective seal! They have not only changed the packaging to make it smaller but the price has gone up, but the fragrance has changed to a tacky smell. I'm not sure if the reason might be change of formula or not having a protective seal as it used to. I'm hoping both Nordstrom and Christian Dior will read and hear loud. #1 reason we buy this is formula/effectiveness as of moisturizing/smell and #2 hygiene and trusting the brand and item #3 price. And if they want to go downhill from all ends that means deteriorating their name/brand and quality. The reasons this has to have a protective seal is 1) To make sure it is brand new and no one has used it, 2) Keep the product sealed and new so that it won't dry (what if we want to use it at a later day or weeks later? Or want to gift someone? It needs to have the protective cap. 3) Hygiene to show microbes don't enter and wont grow in it. 4) The fragrance won't change smell and many other reasons others could even chip in. They also used to gift better and larger items with the purchase, sending two small items doesn't justify again the price we have paid for this that has increased exponentially during last 3-4 years.
