This is a wonderful scent for Parfum Spray. Light but enhancing and definitely alluring. Nice part is it lasts a long time. You don't need to over spray either, so although it's a little on the expensive side, it should last longer than other 3.4 oz. sprays. I only have to spray once and it's there for me for up to 8 hours minimum. I love it.

Very Disappointed
I had such high hopes for this fragrance based on others reviews. I'm not sure if the bottle I received was spoiled but the only way I can describe it is that it reminded me of my grandmother back in the 1970's, like baby powder mixed with vanilla. My husband actually recoiled and asked me to wash it off.

Smells like playdoh at first
Playdoh to a zen woody base style vanilla. Would layer well. Needs more depth. It's a real morpher but I was expecting more.

Tangier Vanille is worth every penny.
At first I thought the Aerin Tangier Vanille was a little expensive for an Estee Lauder fragrance, but I was wrong. This scent is luxurious and comparable to French perfumes from high end perfume houses like Guerlain or Chanel. The scent at first is honey sweet vanilla with a floral freshness to it. Then the scent warms with wood notes of sandalwood, and it finishes with a rich amber base note. The fragrance is extremely long lasting. I smelled it on my wrists many hours after application and even after bathing. But best of all, the scent is comforting, yet seductive and mysterious. The bottle has a lovely faux semi precious stone cap which gives the bottle distinction and a bit of luxe.

Different
At first sniff, I thought this was another Prada Candy, but I was wrong. This fragrance has it's own notes that make it different than so much of what is out there today. I have a sense that it might smell very different on different people, but on me, it is heavenly. Which is a major miracle, because most perfumes are flat, fade away, and lose life on me. Another miracle, it lasts for hours and I don't get sick of smelling it. So for me, this is a fragrance that I'm happy to wear everyday, doesn't smell like everything else, and lasts throughout the day without getting on my nerves. Plus it smells beautiful - maybe I'll finally have a signature fragrance!
