Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam Face Cleanser

This light foamy-texture cleanser is an oddity. It's supposed to be used on a night time, yet without using the 'Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm' first, I find it a struggle to remove my makeup. It also doesn't happen to foam the way traditional cleansers do, which is likely down to the new type of surfactant (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) used in this The herbal fragrance is unusual for an EL product and with a mild surfactant and some good fruit/plant derived ingredients, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry afterwards, and if anything, nourished. I can't see any reason why this cannot be used in the morning and have happily been doing so all week. The outcome...nope my skin hasn't been tricked into thinking it's 'night time', if anything it looks fresher and healthier than before. Talk about a morning kick-start! Did I mention there's caffeine in here too? Verdict: good for very light makeup and no makeup days, but doesn't fall into the category of cleansers that allow you to remove a moderate amount of makeup without double-cleansing.
