Beaded One Shoulder Blouson Gown

I ordered this gown for my prom, which is coming up in May. While I ordered in Early April, it got here a few days ago, on the 22nd, even though I wasn't supposed to have it till the 2nd, since I had it on back order. I bought it in light blue, size 16. I'm 5'5, about 170 pounds. While I'm comfortable in my size, I was fearing prom dress shopping because a majority of prom dresses are skimpy, and not flattering to someone my size, which is why I decided to go to a non-traditional outlet and come here. When I went to the store, they didn't have this dress in stock, but I tried another of her dresses in a size smaller and found that I would in fact need the size I got, and that the shape should work well on me. After going to another store and seeing the dress in person (They didn't have the dress in my size at all, only reaching size 10.) I returned to order it. I was scared for when it came in, but as soon as I tried it on I fell in love. The fit is beautiful, it does show off my stomach some, which is nothing some spanx can't fix. For a girl like me, who wants to feel beautiful in her size, and feel comfortable and modest, this dress works wonders. The length is a bit much for me, but with some heels it should be fine. I haven't had any issues so far with the sequins coming off, and I hope that it won't have any issues going in to prom night, but I can vouch for the issue with the zipper. The zipper does seem to get stuck, but as you can easily go over your head with it actually easier than with the zipper, this doesn't seem to be much of a problem with me. The only other thing I noticed is that the seam in the back is a bit noticeable, but it should be fine. Overall, I'm overjoyed with this dress.
