Beaded Blouson Gown

I was literally in tears because couldn't find a flattering dress to wear to my daughter's wedding. Then, I saw this one at my local Nordstrom store. It's a color and pattern that I would have never considered, and to my surprise the color was super complementary with my olive complexion and the dress flowed beautifully over all my bulges and curves. I ordered one size down, but it was still huge, so I had to exchange it for another size down.

Stunning. Better than I would ever have imagined. Fits like a dream, which was surprising so I will say yes, it runs a little large. Whose going to complain if you're wearing a size smaller?! Beading is eye catching without creating a heavy dress. Minimal itching, just around the arms a tad. The chiffon flows and is forgiving over bumps and round parts. Spanx solves most things anyway. Yes it is a little long, even with heels. Looks lovely as you are standing, be careful walking so you do not trip. I do not want to hem as I will lose that little piece of over lay that is a hint of transparency at the bottom. I tend to hide in dark colors and had it not been for the encouragement of friends I would have passed this dress up without a thought. They were so right. So ladies, I say try it.
