Please bring this jacket back!!
I purchased this jacket two years ago, and it has easily remained my absolute favorite and most versatile piece of outerwear. I cannot overstate how truly fabulous the fit is. You achieved the impossible: a cut that perfectly runs the line between a flattering, slightly fitted silhouette and the effortless comfort of an oversized look. I have genuinely never found another jacket that achieves this balance.Living in Maine, it’s a non-negotiable staple for cool fall/spring days. It's also incredible for travel; I just used it almost exclusively on a trip to the UK. It packs well, layers easily, and adapts to everything.This jacket is a truly iconic and essential piece. Madewell, please, please, please bring this coat back! It is a clear winner that deserves a spot in every collection.If you do bring it back, I would personally love to see it offered in a few fresh colors—perhaps a lovely baby blue or a soft, ballerina pink. A girl can dream 🥲

Not warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The yellow is super cute, but the coat is just not very warm at all. I wasn't expecting to wear it in the snow, but I thought "Primaloft" and "puffer" meant there would be at least some additional warmth to it. It's a regular jacket. I'll probably use it as a raincoat. Kind of disappointed.

It’s such a nice jacket, and it’s packable so it’s a plus. The sleeves are a little bit short, but I would still go with regular size.

Bring this one back please!
This jacket is perfect in every way! The style is flattering and just roomy enough to layer underneath. I have had it now for 3 winters and it still looks like new. It is warm and I continue to get compliments EVERY time I wear it. It originally came in a light green color and I regret I didn’t buy it in that color as well. I can’t get enough of it and would love to see it come back. A bonus feature is that it can be made into a neck pillow. Genius!

Go-to transitional coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the chanterelle color — it's the perfect yellow for fall. I wear this jacket nonstop once the temps start to change in Chicago. It's great to layer and has good warmth to it on its own. Plus it's lightweight, so easy to pack or carry around if needed.

where would I be without this jacket???
Holy smokes! This jacket has saved me time and time again this winter in SoCal! It’s warm, stylish and a great color. I can wear it with a T-shirt and yoga pants or with a cute top and jeans to work. So versatile! Best purchase this winter, hands down.
