Acorn
Acorn began as the first purveyor of slipper socks over 40 years ago. The brand takes its inspiration from the vivid fall colors and cold weather of Maine to craft luxuriously soft, comfy slippers made to keep feet cozy and stylish no matter the temperature. Today, Acorn has expanded to offer summer-weight flip-flops and spa shoes with their signature comfort.

I am a solid 9 in all shoes and slippers but when I read the large is 8-9, I ordered both L and XL. L was a little tight, like too perfect of a fit and XL is cozy but with a little extra room. I stuck with XL. Very comfortable slipper and I’m glad I finally found one I like. (Something that wraps around my whole foot).

Much Hype; Poor Choice
These Acorn slippers have been returned today: there is nothing in them to qualify as a "supportive raised heel and arch." I have, disappointingly, found them to be little more than a high-priced terry slipper of the type usually sold hanging on racks, paired on cards. I wear size 8 or 8 ½ Wide and ordered the Large (8-9) Wide size: the slippers were short: I could feel my big toes hitting the front, with a paucity of wiggle-room in the toe-box - which is not impacted by the adjustable velcro strap - and is unnecessarily tapered and, I thought, skimpy. That they would look like mops at the end of my feet was anticipated in advance, but I felt this well worth it if the advertised arch and heel support were significantly well-defined and of high caliber - they were not: they seemed, in fact, to be absent. I suggest trying another solution if looking for a well-shaped footbed.

comfy and pretty
Finally made a decent pair of slippers for the wide foot. Nice and comfy, but unfortunately the sizes run funny. 8--9, too big for a size 8--I'm an eight. I then bought the smaller size, only to find out that they ran in 6 1/2- 7 1/2. Nothing for us close=to=eights or a- little- over folks.

I wish they'd worked
These slippers were attractive and looked very comfortable. I liked the velcro feature. I returned them because they ran short and my toes were jammed and very uncomfortable. I can wear a 10M or 11N shoe and these were an XL 9-1/2 - 10-1/2 size. If they came in an XXL, they would have worked. I wish they made slippers like this in larger sizes!

Slippers as described
Looks great and looks like they are true to size. Seems quality-made. Bought as a gift for a friend. Heard great reviews regarding this brand so I got it myself. Fast shipping from Nordstrom, the slippers arrived earlier than expected!

These slippers feel so good!
I have short, thick feet with a very high arch so finding any shoes that fit can be challenging. These slippers are cute and comfortable. Normally my house slippers are too tight until they are almost worn out but these are comfortable right away. I hope they last because I don’t like throwing one or two pairs of slippers away every year.
