Acne Studios
Jonny Johansson cofounded the multidisciplinary Acne Studios (an acronym for Ambition to Create Novel Expressions) in Stockholm in 1996. Simply perfection
I wanted a new coat this season. My criteria was black, wool, Classic design, minimal, and beautifully made. I wanted a coat that would be as good with jeans as it would be a cocktail dress. I was willing to pay the $$ that it took to find my perfect coat. I looked at so many options. I found a couple that I liked but they weren’t exactly what I wanted. This coat was always high on the list and after much looking I decided to make the purchase. It’s perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The perfect wool, construction, beautifully oversized. I have purchased other coats that are higher in price from premiere designers (don’t get me wrong I love them) , this coat is just as beautiful.

Acne Anyone?
This is hands down the WORST name of a clothing company. Ever. Hooray for Acne am I right? As to the clothes they are very expensive, lumpy, and boring. I only have one question: Why?

Love the coat, camel color just was not for me
I love everything Acne Studios. Love the shape of this coat. It is oversized which is perfect to have layers underneath. Just the camel color was not for me. I would love to get a black color in the future.

dull brown
Coat described as maroon but reads as a dull brown. Was really looking forward to having this and when it came back in stock in my size and on sale I bought it quickly.
The fabric is nice but was oversized and my daughter said I looked like I was wearing a garbage bag. I sized down two sizes but maybe should have sized down three or four sizes. Maybe in a black or grey the coat would look more elegant.

I like the style a lot. High quality coat. Very lightweight and comfortable. I got the teal blue on sale. The color is not very versatile. Kinda make me look old. Returned. I will consider buy a black/camel one.
