Fragrance story: Hell of a Rose blends rose with contrasting wood and vetivers smokey facets to reveal a new intensity. Rising among ashes and against all odds, the rose is strong and resilient. It is textured by the musky addiction of ambrette. Fresh and smokey facets bring about a new intensity. Its brigthness emerges from the intense vetiver like a glimmer of hope in the dark. Absolue Les Parfums is a radical fragrance collection dedicated to Lancôme's rose, born in their Domaine. The first ever rose-dedicated haute-parfumerie collection is composed of 11 scents and unveils the brand's exclusive centifolia rose like you've never smelled before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was so cute and the bottle design was as well. I really didn’t care for the scent though, it has a strong chemical smell that I just couldn’t get past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A beautiful, artistic scent that reminds me of a Chinese scholar doing calligraphy. It has a calming, herbal tea quality with hints of wooden beads and incense. Very unique and intellectual. Highly recommend if you like woody, calming roses.

Smells like the name ASHES and PUTRIFYING HECK sulfury w a bit of Rose.
See BOX photo - they hid they added ASHES in name!! but on BOX here they are!
NO I do NOT want someones ASHES. Just the name itself
is smth i am concerned about but smell matches the name. pls Lancome, pls NO MORE
HECK, BVCK MAGIE, IDOLES as those are abominations and destructive.
I love Roses, I loved Lancome but now noticing this dark trend.. NOT welcome in my
home or family.

Smokey Rose Perfection
I own all 11 fragrances from this line and this was one of the last I purchased. It’s such a different scent and I know some people are not a fan due to the smokey factor. I find it enticing and sexy. It’s also phenomenal when paired with one of the softer rose scents like Le Parfum or 1001 Roses. They are all winners! My only complaint lies with every single one. They don’t last the whole day; and for this price point, they should!!
