Great Swimming Trunks!
Awesome for the pool!!! Perfect fit; I bought the same size I get for the 9 inch boxer briefs (which I use as pajamas). The fabric stretched but held firmly, comfortable for swimming! The pocket is an added plus!

Very tight, not enough pockets. Feels more feminine than feels comfortable to me.

Order a size down
I purchased these shorts with the idea of doing lap swimming in them. I followed the size guide in addition to owning 2 other pairs of swim shorts from tomboyx and despite getting them in the size recommended (3X), they are incredibly too big, unwearably so. I would take one stroke in the pool and they quite literally fell below my butt. I tried them on when I received them, and thought it felt like it fit, but, I unfortunately did not get the chance to try it on in the pool until over a month past my purchase date so now I'm stuck with a pair of shorts that I can't wear.
The fabric is nice and the pattern pretty, wish they were closer to the size guide

Not made like my last pair runs tight cheap fabric
Around a year ago I got another pair of your swim shorts the one with the rainbow trim and the rest of it was black. Those have lasted me very well up until now and I'm needing a new pair so I ordered these and immediately noticed upon the first where try that the fabric is much flimsier with these and it is not a true 6x this fits like a 5X if not a 4X. I did not have this problem with my last pair of shorts which are almost exactly the same model just different coloration, not only that I am worried because of how thin the fabric is how long it will last as I do water aerobics 5 to 6 times a week, not only that when I put them on the color becomes washed out because of the stretch. I would try to return for something different but I'm worried that this might be the case with other shorts I really loved that last pair that I have had but I've worn them down to a point there's holes so I need this pair to work at least for now, I just hope it holds up okay. We will have to see.

Great shorts, but they run small
These shorts definitely run small. I'm a large in the 9" boxer briefs, and sized up to XL based on the description and other reviews. They're still snug. I'm fine with a snug fit for swimwear, but do be aware when ordering that even a size up might fit on the tight side.
Aside from sizing, these are awesome! I love the 9" boxers for preventing thigh chafe, and I've been wanting a pair of swim shorts in the same length. Finally they came out in a pattern I like. Nice dark colors and a summery tropical vibe. I appreciate the pocket, too.
