The Steve Madden beaded sandals are slightly roomier than typical Steve Madden sizing, especially for someone with narrow feet, but they still look flattering and well-balanced on foot. The extra space around the heel and toe area gives a more relaxed sandal fit rather than an overly tight or cramped appearance. Compared to other sandals that fit too short, these provide a more comfortable and visually balanced look without toes or heels sitting too close to the edges. I am typically in between sizes 5. 5 or 6. I purchased a size 6 in these as all steve madden shoes runs small. The square toe shape and beaded straps make the sandals appear a bit longer. Even though they run slightly bigger than expected for a size 6, they do not look sloppy or oversized when worn. For narrow feet, sizing down could risk creating a cramped fit similar to smaller sandal slides that leave little room around the foot. Overall, the sandals look stylish, comfortable, and proportionate on foot. The fit comes across as intentionally relaxed rather than too big, making them a good choice if you prefer some room in sandals without them looking awkward. With that said, i’m not sure if i’ll size down half a size for a more fitted look or keep the current size for a more relaxed fit, still debating. I’ll update if i end up exchanging.
