So soft and nice! But runs a bit large
Just got these and they are so soft, I can’t wait to wear them on the slopes! I’m exchanging a size S for an XS as they run a bit large. I’m 5’6” and 132 lbs.

slightly itchy
I really, really want to love these. They fit nice, and I can tell they'd be warm, but I do find them slightly itchy--and I love wool, don't normally find it itchy. Either this small amount of wool is very, very cheap (in which case, these will pill quite significantly with wear), or the viscose is the problem? I'm leaning towards keeping them, maybe they'd soften with some wear, but for the price and materials, I expected something more comfy cozy.
Also wish the leg seam didn't wrap around and look so prominent; that makes it harder to wear these to the office under skirts (they would be able to pass as thick tights without that weird seam, but as it is, they definitely read as activewear).
But the fit is nice, wish there was a petite length (these are about 2-3" long on my short frame).

Perfect for West Coast Skiing
This is my third set of Ruths -- I love them that much. I primarily ski in Tahoe so I'm looking for some warmth and lots of sweat wicking and these deliver without being itchy like so many other base layers. These are so soft and stretchy -- they're just the best! You should not though they are thin enough that you really cannot get away with wearing them by themselves.

Great all season base
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all season to warmer month base layers. The color is great and the material is relatively soft, admittedly not as much as expected. They are a bit loose around the calf but that is PERFECT for rolling over ski boots.
