Georgia crafted these Insulated Lace-To-Toe Work Boots with black full-grain leather; the material is tough and durable, yet remains naturally soft. All of the boot eyelets and stud hooks have been attached to steel washers, so you won't have to worry about them being pulled off while you're working. The lace-up design allows your feet to rest securely, and it enables you to adjust the boots for a comfortable fit. Inside are 200 grams of 3M Thinsulate Insulation to keep you warm. The interior is fully-lined and has a removable cushioned Orthotic insole. As you're working, you'll have steady footing and arch support because these work boots have a steel shank. Georgia built this Lace-To-Toe boot using welt construction for durability and strength. These Georgia boots are completed with Vibram Lug rubber outsoles that are hard-wearing, have great flexibility and resist abrasions, heat, chemicals and oil. You can go just about anywhere and find a pair of work boots; what makes these Georgia Insulated Lace-To-Toe Work Boots different is that they're made from quality materials and they'll keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable.

G8040 are excellent Work Boots
These Georgia Loggers G8040 are an excellent all around boot, for work and casual wear. I've owned Danner's Rainforest and Super Rainforest Boots. And, these G8040 Boots are every bit is good as the Danner Rainforest and Super Rainforest Boots and at 1/2 the price. These are a high quality work boot. This is my second pair of the Georgia loggers G8040 Boots. I highly recommend these boots.

Beware if you wear wide width!!!
I bought these boots out of desperation as I was unable to locate the Carolina boots that I have worn for the last several years. These boots are very narrow for a wide width and are extremely uncomfortable. I wish I would have realized this before I started wearing them at work as they are now non returnable. I'm afraid I will not be buying Georgia brand again in the future.

Not USA made…
Product arrived today. They are not made in the USA but rather the Dominican Republic. Expensive for not being made here. However, I must give credit that this is a great boot nonetheless
the less. I checked the web site and it still doesn’t say country of mfg but it is on the outside of the box.

great boots - irritating noise generated by one bo
Have worn Georgia boots for years - one pair will last a long, long time - the soles are without any question, the longest lasting of any brand. They are good looking boots, clean up nicely, and I wear them working or hunting, including at the office. The last pair I bought had a noise in the heel of the right boot that is triggered every time i step on my right foot - it is just loud enough to be embarrassing but I blame myself for not sending them back - I mistakenly assumed the noise would eventually stop - it never did. If i get another pair that makes a noise (which will never go away, by the way), I will send them back.

I recently purchased a pair of Georgia boots, the first pair I've ever bought. Although the boot itself looks good and is comfortable. One of the lace eyelet sections on the left boot is sewn about 3/8 of an inch offset. I didn't notice this until I began to completely lace up the boot. As a result, the lace is clearly is crookett and unable to lace properly.I purchased these when I was out of state on company business. For that reason I am unable to return them for an exchange. I like the boot, just disappointed in the quality.

Thanks for making smaller sizes!
I bought this boot for two reasons. Firstly, this boot came in my size! I have small feet and finding footwear in my size is no easy task. Kudos to Georgia Boot for manufacturing smaller sizes. Secondly, this boot is made with premium materials. I wanted a boot that did not skimp on components. I was pleased to find a boot with Gore-Tex lining, Thinsulate insulation, and Vibram Soles. If you are looking for a traditional style work boot made with quality materials, this is the one. Lastly, the fit is spot on.

Great fit and feel.
I'm gunna buy my 3rd pair of these out of the multiple other georgia boots ive bought. I wear them doing landscape wook in all conditions. I get a full year or more wearing them 7 days a week.
