Madrid Big Buckle Slide Sandal (Women)

I'm not one to hop onto my computer and immediately write a review for an item, but I'm genuinely impressed by this item! Feels so elevated for birks. My husband has been trying to get me to like/wear them for the soft footbed for years and I bought a pair of Arizonas last summer (bc incidentally we moved to Arizona), and threw them away. They were heavy and hurt my ankle. This feels way lighter than those. The gold detail buckle I LOVE- way more blingy in the way I love. The raffia feels very chic- this is a perfect neutral shoe that goes with everything in my wardrobe. I'll update on comfort later but definitely beats the designer flip flops I've worn in the past (Valentino, Louboutin) with zero support.

I wear Birks daily. Usually a double strap big buckle. I own at least 10 pairs different materials. This is my first single strap style and I’m not a big fan. They are not traditional comfort for Birkenstock. Sole is very flat and support is not as solid. I cannot wear them for more than a few hours before switching to a double strap big buckle. They are super cute with everything so I’m keeping but would not buy again. Not worth the price.
