Wessex Mule (Women)

These were comfortable from the moment I slipped them on. I wear them often and they look terrific even over a year later. They quickly give to the shape of your foot as far as comfort but maintain their same stylishness on the exterior. They have a slight padding on the inside and a removable arch support lining. I'm buying more again this year with the closed ankle this time. No need to replace my first pair as they're still holding up great. The manufacturer offers a one-year guarantee on their shoes.

My pair arrived today in Navy blue. Loved the blue mi h more than the tan. The fit of size 7 was perfect. I ordered size wide for width of my foot up front. Great. No rubbing. Comfortable also. Only two things. One, when walking, the make the flip flop sound since they are mule design. I was not expecting this and don’t like sound of flip flop when walking places. Two, I rode my shoes slightly to back. Usually it’s not an issue but there is a small lip at rear. This lip is normal for most mule style shoes. For me, I need a mule without the lip as my heel hits the lip. Or perhaps a 1/2 size larger for me. These shoes are so beautiful, comfortable in Navy. Just wish they didn’t make flip flops sound on my heel when walking. Might be okay for others. Maybe I will keep as a household shoe but it’d princely for just at home.
