Amaze Puff Long Hooded Jacket

I bought it for the red color, which is beautiful. Unfortunately the arms were a little long for me (5’4” xs) and the coat had no shape to it, even with the waist drawstrings. Still, I might have kept it, but the inner sleeve cuffs and the shoulder straps felt very flimsy compared to similar priced coats. So disappointed, I wish it had worked.

Ordered XL fm Macy; too big, had to return. Luckily found same Columbia coat in L at Nordstrom. Arrived before expectation. Perfect for dog-walking or anytime you need extra warmth with style. Every feature you could want in a winter coat; too many features to list. Will shop Nordstrom first in future. This was not a paid review, just a happy customer :)

This coat is so lovely on but the smell is unbearable to me. When I first pulled it out of the box and unwrapped it, I was hit by the smell of raw egg. I thought if I air it out maybe it’ll go away. It didn’t. Then, I tried to wash it and even added a fragrance booster to the wash but the smell changed to a weirder eggy/plasticky smell. It’s got to be the material they use that makes it smell like this. Also, note that I washed exactly according to the instructions with dryer balls and all and it still had flat parts in the sleeves. I’m disappointed because Columbia is known to be like a luxury outerwear brand. Would not recommend this coat, regrettably. Waste of money.
