Long Sleeve Cotton Supima Polo Shirt

Check the dates on the good reviews. I could have written one of them. My husband's favorite shirt forever. He has so many colors. Some of them are finally starting to look a little worn, so I was looking forward to refreshing them over the seasons. We started with two last month and we were both so disappointed! First, he wears a Med Tall. This has always fit perfectly since he is thin and on the tall side with longer arms. They have changed the sizing so the latest shirts looked more like tunics that totally covered his backside. They were silly long. I might have considered hemming them but the fabric has also taken a turn for the worse. The nice, heavy pima is MUCH thinner and lighter. Needless to say, I think we've bought our last of these. Land's End, I'd rather skip all the 50% off sales and get 50% more shirt. These are a pale imitation of a formerly great shirt. Boo.

A nice, comfortable shirt, but I would encourage caution when making a similar purchase. For my first purchase, it was recommended by Lands' End that I go with an XL tall, even though I indicated that I was under 6 feet tall. As it turned out, the length of the body was too long, as were the sleeves. I put in another order, this time for an XL regular. A better fit this time around, but it still was slightly big for me. I think I should go with an L regular, and therefore would warn anyone making the purchase that the sizes do tend to run large.
