Vachetta is NOT as shown
I was so excited about these fisherman sling-backs. The design is classic and the Vachetta brown as shown on the website is, to me, gorgeous. What arrived - was a pair of mud brown, very cheap looking sandals I not only did not even try on, I could not put them back into the box fast enough. SO disappointed.

shoe of my dreams, but nightmare fit
I love the look of this shoe- exactly what I was looking for. However, not comfortable and the sole is too slick and firm- no give or grip! No matter how loose or tight I made the heel strap it either made the shoe uncomfortable or too loose and the shoe flopped off as I walked.

Super cute, but quality isnt great
These shoes are very cute and pretty comfy. But they are slick. Like walking on tile is tricky. And the soles pick up every pebble and leave HUGE indents. Just walking on asphalt pretty much distroyed the heel.

Super cute but caution to petite ankles
I wanted to love these so much. I’m usually always an 8.5. With these shoes I ordered both 8.5 and 9. In both cases the ankle was too loose and kept sliding down. Unfortunately I had to return both pairs.

Why 2 stars?
The leather is very thick, not flexible. I tried 7.5N and 7med. I’m usually 7.5 in length and narrow width. The 7.5N was still very wide. Could not walk, bend foot due to the thickness of the upper portion. Chalk was not a good color for my skin tone.
