Adapt Slingback Sandal (Women)

I ordered these shoes because I loved the fuchsia color and when they arrived, they were the perfect color as well as comfortable. However, after wearing them only once (to a friend’s house for dinner), the finish on both the top of the shoe and the heel knocked off. I will have to return these. Please note, this is the only negative review I have ever given for a pair of shoes I’ve bought from Nordstrom.

The first time I wore these shoes they peeled! Wore them to a restaurant so nothing crazy & mid dinner I noticed they were already peeling at the tips & inside one of the shoes. I will be returning them but reordering if given full refund because the color is beautiful. I have these in white, black, & pink. I’ve only worn the white & green ones & only the green ones peeled. Hopefully the black & pink don’t do the same.

I really love these shoes but I gotta warn anyone buying them that they fit really tight around the feet. I wore them to work and they caused my feet to swell. They were the correct size and everything but I think the straps were too tight. Not too shocked since they are new. However, I would definitely recommend breaking them in outside of work or any place you'd have to wear them long and bring an extra pair of shoes just in case! But overall they are super cute and hopefully the straps will stretch out for me overtime.

So I rarely have a chance to write reviews but I really wanted to let other buyers know about this shoe. The sole of the shoe fit my foot as expected. I am size 8 in just about every shoe I’ve bought including this brand. However, the straps of the shoe are so large. It’s as if it were meant for a shoe one or two sizes bigger. I thought about going down a size but then I don’t think the sole of the shoe would fit. I am disappointed because it is a good looking shoe that can be dressed up or down. Unfortunately I have to return.
