California-based 7 For All Mankind started designing women's jeans in 2000 and quickly became a favorite with celebrities, fashion editors and stylists. The brand is renowned for its sophisticated fits, innovative washes and trendsetting styles. Today, 7 For All Mankind offers full clothing collections for women, men and kids, while still maintaining a focus on premium denim.
Although these jeans are expensive, I expect to wear them alot. I like that they are not cut too low because my torso is long. The inseam is the perfect length and the form fitting style is great for going out.

Not high waisted
These jeans were under the Nordstrom Denim category as high-waisted. These jeans are in NO WAY high waisted. They still fell two inches before the navel. I usually wear a 30 or 31 in For All Mankind. These were 31 and were skin tight and about 5 inches too long (which I've never experienced with For All Mankind). I was very disappointed in these jeans because For All Mankind are usually the only jeans I wear.

Buy one size up!
I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs. I have always worn these in a 28, but this time I needed the 29 (I bought this same pair 3-4 years ago and am still wearing them in a 28). Super cute jeans. There is whiskering on the front that is more pronounced than in the picture (I ordered 2 pairs and one pair was more pronounced than the other). These are absolutely my favorite jeans. Plenty long, so you'll probably have to tailor them unless you are 5'10" or so, or wear really high heels. These jeans have a nice rise, not too high, not too low cut. Definitely not mom jeans. This brand runs tighter in the thighs, so keep that in mind when ordering!

Too small
I purchased these jeans because they're the only ones I could find in a size 33. I usually wear a size 14-16, and I have a hard time finding pants that size. Unfortunately I gambled and lost on these - they were too small. Plus, the fabric felt thinner than I would have expected for that price. I really wanted them to work, but unfortunately they're going back.

Snug but stretch
I'm a solid 12 and fight the loose skin in my waist from pregnancy, so these "high waist" 7's seemed like a great option. I bought the 33in, knowing that my 32in in other 7's are ok but not terribly comfortable at the moment in my waist. I tried them on right when they arrived and planned to return them; they were very snug and not at all a high waist, as others had mentioned. In my efforts to lose weight, I tried them on again a week later and they magically fit perfectly and even became a bit loose in the waist band and thighs throughout the day due to the stretch in the fabric. I'm glad I kept them, but I really think they're only comfortable due to the stretch-factor.

not a high waist
I am 5'7'' size 12 and purchased size 32 and 33. After trying them on I have decided to go with size 32. The rise for size 33 is 9,5" and the rise for size 32 is 9''. The waist was the same for both pairs. The size 33 jeans were more roomy in hip and upper leg area.
Considering that they will stretch I decide to keep size 32. The color is very flattering and is not so dramatic so I can wear them as a regular pants.
I gave them 4 stars because they are misrepresented# the high waist# when the jean label states as a middle rise.
