Inclement Long Tassel Waterproof Boot (Women)

I sadly had to return these boots as they were indeed slightly snug at the calves. I could only just zip them over skinny jeans and maybe could have stretched them, but I'd rather invest in the correct size. These boots are top notch, last-a-lifetime quality. If you're already thinking about them, just get them.

I do not buy boots often as I am indecisive and my fashion choices are always bad. However, after 3 years my search for comfortable boots is over. More than I have ever spent on boots, but the quality is noticeable. The color is much better in person vs. online. *Some tips when ordering this brand: from my experience, every boot style seems to have a different fit/size. This boot required a half size up. The brand is made for people who have a certain calf width. As such, highly recommend using the size chart before ordering. Some boots are VERY slim, even if you normally have a standard size calf width.

I chose these from Nordstrom’s search for 13 3/4” and less for “narrow calf” sizing. These were 18” in a size 10. After waiting so long against my better judgement because the photos look like a slightly larger calf, I ordered them. I really wish Nordstrom and other sellers would list the calf circumference by size. It seems reviews for the smaller sizes complain about the boots being narrow. I’m 5’7” and wear a 10. I don’t need 18” calf size. They are beautiful and made well, but also very stiff and uncomfortable. I could not wear them for long and they run large all over.
