Rigid sole

I bought these about 6 weeks ago and only just started wearing them. Thinking that they would have the same sole as my other 4 pairs Altamessa 500 sneakers, which I love. Bought all colors. The sole on these are very rigid with hardly any bend. What a disappointment. Unfortunately I don't think they would take them back as I did an outside walk in them never imagining that they would have such a stiff sole. If you need to adjust or change the laces, they are covered and not accessible.

These are great shoes

I bought these shoes for walking and the are a great buy. They are waterproof and they have excellent traction. They are also breathable so your feet won’t be sweaty after long walks. I walk around the mall and parking lots and on the side walks for a long time and my feet don’t hurt because of the inside cushioning. Great buy and a most have for your collection and they look great and expensive.

Have Altered My Gait

At first I thought these were awesome. With someone with a bad lower back, I thought I needed something with alot of cushion for standing on concrete all day. These certainly are very cushioning and soft. They are light weight and great to walk in. Now the bad part. These shoes are so soft and have so much cushion they are now altered the way I walk so much that I need physical therapy. My feet roll outwards as I step and its creating a whole other set of problems. The culprit is the shoes. They are to soft and they make my foot roll outwards. I have to relearn to walk again. I can not recommend this. Too much of a good thing is always bad.

Almost great.

Love the shoe but unfortunately you can't properly get to the laces. That's a sure flaw in design. Otherwise very comfortable.
