Volumizing Hot Rollers LUXE for Volume, Body and Shine

I've been using hot rollers for years (cheaper models; Conair, Remington, etc.) this is my first splurge on a set of T3. I am listing the pros and cons of this set, however, I wanted to mention I have used many cheaper sets for context to my review! PROS: 1. TWO heat settings. Great for my fine hair when I am worried about heat damage. I use the lower setting when my hair is not in optimal condition. 2. Heats up FAST! These rollers heat up much faster than my cheaper models. 3. UNIVERSAL wattage for international traveling. Outstanding for traveling. I burned up a set of hot rollers in Italy because I forgot to plug them into a voltage converter to step down the wattage. 4. GOOD LOOKING!! I think this design is the sleekest and best looking out there. I don't even mind leaving them on my bathroom counter! CONS: 1. Clips are NOT "crimp free" or line free as advertised. The clips that come with this set work just fine, but they are identical to every clip I have ever received with all my cheaper sets. To suggest they are somehow different is silly. I'm sure there must be a way to roll your hair to minimize the crease from the clip, but that would relate to technique, not the design of the clips! 2. Rollers have "plugs" on the bottom which lock onto the heating rods. They do not easily slide on or off the rods and require two hands. I'm used to having one hand in my hair while the other hand quickly slides off a roller. I had to entirely adjust how I wrap my hair by first using both hands to pull off a roller. The first day I used them, I was in a rush to go somewhere and when I took the rollers out, I left them scattered all over my bathroom counter because the fittings between rollers and rods were so tight, I didn't have time to put the rollers back on! After two weeks, the fittings have slightly loosened up and they are a little less tedious to get on and off. 3. COST The $110 price tag is triple what I have paid for other brands

My hair is past my shoulders and reaches my shoulder blades and is one length no layers, this is just for reference. It is thick south Asian hair. These T3 rollers heat up in about a minute. The dots located on the top of rollers are black and turn a solid cream color when ready. The rollers do feel very warm but not hot to burn your fingers. You don't need to be perfect, just grab a 2-3inch wide section of hair, roll and clip it. The clips themselves could have been made of a more sturdy plastic, I don't like them. The T3 set is excellent, I leave the rollers in for 20 minutes and do my makeup , then take them out and let cool for just a moment and finger brush my hair through. The volume lasted all day roughly 8 hours. To get beach waves I start rolling hair about three quarters of the way and leave ends hangin out of rollers, -voila beach waves! For best volume do pull and set hair in rollers at roots, don't let it sit hanging. This is a great compact set with soft faux leather case. It requires no maintenance and the heating base is sleek, modern and beautiful with LED lights. The rollers are ceramic inside with an aluminum core to retain heat. I am satisfied that I'm not damaging my hair and I love the volume and incredible shine that results . This is my personal experience and opinion.

This gives me voluminous, shiny hair. Makes me feel like I had a blowout in about 20 mins. If you're looking for curls, this won't be it -- it's more for creating body and oomph. I use 2-3x's a week with dry shampoo in between. Perfect amount of rollers for my hair, which is long but not thick, so keep that in mind if you have thicker hair. Clips don't cause any funny bumps. Overall, LOVE this product.

I had been using a curling iron to get my curls but started to become concerned with the damage I was doing to my hair...enter these rollers. Some days I would just like something simple to get rid of the frizz and these are SO perfect! They only take less than two minutes to heat up and I can get my hair up in rollers in a few minutes and then spend the rest of my time getting ready instead of spending SO MUCH time just curling it. I still have to get a hang of them, but I have completely stopped using my curling iron. I've heard that there are better clips you can purchase to hold the rollers, but I haven't gotten around to checking that out yet. A++ and I definitely recommend! I'll be purchasing a couple of extra rollers since my hair is so thick.
